Program Advisory, Equitable Development Initiative

A National Community Development Financial Institution engaged us to support the launch of the Equitable Development Initiative in Dallas, TX. EDI is a Real Estate Training Program spanning several months of learning and was launched in Detroit, MI in 2018. The program was created to help Developers of Color to learn about mixed-use and multi-family development. As a Program Advisor our SOW included:

• Cohort & instructor Outreach
• Organize the Launch Event for 80+ attendees
• Application Review (received 100 app’s), Scoring, Interviews and Cohort selection
• Curriculum Design, Session Planning, and co-lead orientation
• Identify a suitable location for in-person sessions
• Organize the Capstone/Culmination Event, inviting stakeholders and supporters
• Curriculum Development and Schedule planning
• digital materials: Presentations, document editing, and graphic design
